Pat Dunlavey (Product manager) A community grassroots organizer active in Massachusetts, Pat designed a web application for peer-mentored friend to friend politics in the spring of 2003 that was very successful. AdvoKit grew out of that experience. Pat is a self-employed cartographer specializing in topographic recreation and reference maps.

Dan Robinson (CTO) Dan is the technical practice leader for CivicActions LLC and the CTO of the E-Volve Foundation, a non-profit working to integrate Internet based grassroots organizing tools and techniques into organizations working for social change. Dan has 20 years of experience as a programmer, architect and director of engineering in a variety of different companies including HP, BofA, Varian, MCI and Charles Schwab. Dan is currently wedding his deep software industry experience with a lifelong commitment to social change by identifying, championing and helping birth innovative new projects like the AdvoKit.

Henri Poole (Business manager) Henri is a Internet strategist for CivicActions LLC, where he advises campaigns on the effective use of emerging tools and practices to empower grassroots activism. For the past 10 years, Henri Poole has been a pioneer in the Internet communications industry. During this period, he has led teams of employees, contractors, and volunteers in the successful online deployment of grassroots projects and major international brands including Mandrake Linux and the online launch of Windows95. Mr. Poole is actively involved in the research and development of reputation systems, social networking tools, and methods for online fundraising. Mr. Poole serves on the Board of Directors for the Free Software Foundation and Affero, Inc., as well as the Advisory Board of Blue Oxen Associates.

Tanya Renne (Development) Ms. Renne is a co-owner and co-founder of Orchid Suites, Inc. as well as the owner of renneDevelopment, a web and database development company founded in 1995. She is highly skilled in multiple computer programs and languages, offers strengths in needs-assessment, design, data and project management. Important projects have included developing and managing large-scale public service websites geared toward international audiences; maximizing the in-house capabilities of labor organizations; developing core-technologies for direct-service non-profit organizations; and custom development of browser-based web maintenance tools.

Travis Low (Development) Mr. Low is a co-owner and co-founder of Orchid Suites, Inc. He is the creator of the technical engine that serves as the foundation for AdvoKit. Mr. Low is also the owner of DawnStar, an innovative web software development firm that specializes in web-based solutions for small businesses and professionals including specialty job tracking software. The firm also provides hosting, design, development, and consulting to its clients.

Mr. Low has extensive experience as technical team leader including: complete software life cycle experience, from business analysis, to development, testing, and deployment; fluent in ASP, PHP, Java, C, Perl, and other languages and thorough understanding of web-related technologies such as networking, databases, server-side scripting, application servers, and browser technologies. Mr. Low is experienced in web security issues such as firewalls, encryption, and authentication. He is a proficient system administrator and network engineer with great troubleshooting abilities and excellent communication skills.
