Get yourself an account and start logging bugs, usability issues and feature requests. Please make sure you search to see if your particular issue has been logged already before you add one. I will be working diligently to verify and kick problems up to the team.

You need not know any php or mysql to get started using AdvoKit.

First thing you should cons

First thing you should consider is joining our development listserve - you can find the link at http://www.voter2voter.org/?q=book/view/34 . Questions asked there will probably get answered more quickly than here. You will need to install MySQL and PHP. You should be able to find everything you need (downloads and info) at www.php.net and www.mysql.com. There are some extensive notes about the installation of AdvoKit here on this site. Really it should be very easy. As for hosting services we are currently using www.dreamhost.com. It is fine/cheap. This is not an endorsement - just info. You should be able to easily locate an ISP that supports MySQL and PHP. Hope to see you on the listserve.

Where should I get started on PhP?
Although I have no experience with PhP (or MySQL), I am eager to get started using Advokit.
Could you recommend:
A) A quick guide to PhP/MySQL. Hopefully all I will need to know is how to install AdvoKit.
B) An inexpensive commercial server that is know to work with Advokit?
