Hello Advokit!

I have been attempting to install Advokit 0.9-8 without success using Mac OSX, PHP 4.3.10 and MySQL 4.0.22. I have Smarty template engine 2.6.5. There are 2 major issues.

1. the smarty templating engine doesn't appear to be working properly with Advokit. I'm only guessing this is at issue since none of my images appear. However, if I load a test.tpl file, the smarty templating works fine and the Advokit installer doesn't flag a single error. Smarty templates appear to install properly.

2. Logging in using the default password, logs me in initally, but any attempt after that to add any content throws insufficient privileges my way - I haven't been able to log in and generate content even once.

any ideas are greatly appreciated!
